An elegant assembly of two gable-roofed forms, our Small L Standard combines function with grandeur. The home is designed to take advantage of views across the whole of the site, while blurring the lines between indoors and outdoors. Excellent as a second or full-time home, the design features dedicated working space, laundry, and space for a small family.

Dedicated office space
The Small L design is big on flexibility, design and functionality. With a dedicated office space, laundry, mechancial storage, and entry mud room, the Small L is design for weekends away, full-time-living or high-value renting. The two wings of the home wrap around a central courtyard that can be a controlled garden landscape within a more wild parcel.

Of Nature
Our design and development approach was crafted with context in mind. How do we make new builds feel like they belong - nestled homes that feel like they’re of the landscape and not just in it or near it.
Gather ‘Round
The window patterns on our Small Bar are designed to strike a beautiful composition from every angle - front, side and back. When developing a rural home, the importance of 2D curb appeal gives way to the 360 experience of the landscape. Our Small Bar? It’s a beautiful home from every angle.
Live Outside
Nobody builds a house in the country to stay inside all the time. Considered outdoor areas expand your usable footprint, without having to pay for walls, roofs, or ongoing conditioning costs. The HUTS Small Bar merges indoors and outdoors, adding lots of usable (outdoor) space at a fraction of the build cost.

Let the Light In
With exposures on both sides of the great room, the feeling in this grand vaulted space is one that feels as much outdoors and indoors.
Details Matter
The pure shape of the home is complimented by a material palette of natural wood, glass, and steel.
