Features

01Water Collection

All water used for bathing and washing is collection on-site, from rainwater and dew. The collected water drains into a 500 gallon cistern, where it is filtered and treated with UV. On on-demand electric heater warms bathing water before it is gravity fed down to the ADU, to be used in the kitchen sink, indoor shower, or outdoor shower.
02Battery Bank

All electric used at the ADU is generated by a 6-panel solar array that's mounted to the powerbank's shed roof. The battery bank is stored in an insulated bay to allow for efficient charging, even in sub-zero temperatures. All lighting, water heating, compost toilet, and outlets are powered by this system.
03Interiors

The refined interior of this ADU bring together wide plank white oak flooring, handcrafted japanese and zellige tiles, oil-rubbed black hardware, and soapstone countertops.
