Our project in Andes, NY includes a custom main house and an ADU. We advised that our clients start with the construction of the ADU, which features three sleeping areas, living, kitchen and dining space in a 468 SF footprint.

A Simple Form

Purposefully modest, the ADU utilizes simple lines and simple materials to keep the build costs down, without sacrificing experience.

Mountain Outlook

The entry to the house is modest, with minimal openings and a simple front door. The house is oriented towards a long view of the northern foothills of the Catskill Mountains, with a wide expanse of glass on the rear of the structure.

Precise Space Planning

Each area of this +/- 500 SF cabin serves multiple functions. The sofa includes custom, built-in dining millwork. The kitchen includes storage for managing the property. The stairs are bookshelves. The loft is both an office and principal bedroom.
